Hailing from the foothills of Polomolok in the southern most tip of Mindanao, Philippines, Vanda is an honours graduate of B.A. Broadcast Communication at the University of the Philippines and Full Scholar M.A. Communication Arts graduate of Ateneo de Manila University, both reputable universities in the Philippines.  

At her birth country, Vanda was a copywriter and broadcast coordinator at advertising firm J. Romero & Associates in Makati, then a lecturer at the Communications Department of the University of the Philippines and Ateneo de Manila University, and lastly a Programme Manager at the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education and top ranked international business school, Asian Institute of Management.

She moved to the UK in 2005 to work as a Business Development Manager of a Limited Company for two years after which she became  a Project Co-ordinator of the Business Development Unit of Lewisham & Southwark College in London for 7 years.

She is currently the Company Director of Project CG Ltd and Board Member and Communications & Social Media Director of the European Network of Filipino Diaspora(ENFiD)-Europe and Interim Chairman of the Board and Country Representative of ENFiD- Ireland.  She provides  digital marketing services to two European Wax Centres in Cincinnati, and recently to Ireland Planner, a new and innovative travel service company in Cavan.  

Vanda was nominated as one of Filipino Women's Network's 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World (FWN 2015 Global 100TM) Award in September 2015. She was nominated under the Behind the Scenes Leaders award category which recognizes Filipina women who may not have the big title or corner office, but is a driving force behind the success of a social cause or life issue, a community organization's project or initiative.Someone who has gone beyond the call of duty to devote time, energy, and resources to advocate for those who need a voice, or support the organization she represents or works for.
